The 2022-23 series of Trail Talks, a series of discussions designed to address relevant topics facing our community, will kick off September 22 with a panel discussion featuring Shari Rudavsky and Rachel Fradette, two Indianapolis Star reporters who covered the story of a young girl who traveled from Ohio to Indiana for abortion services following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The reporters will participate in a moderated discussion and address the various angles and challenges of covering the story. The discussion will begin at 5:30 pm and will precede “The Lifespan of a Fact,” a production featuring a young fact checker, a talented but dismissive writer, and their beleaguered editor who go head-to-head in a comedic yet gripping battle over facts versus truth.
