On October 2, from 12:30-2pm on the Cornell College football field, join us for a FREE Learn to Play Lacrosse Clinic organized just for Girls! This clinic will introduce the basics of the girls game - stick handling, ground balls, throwing & catching, and basic game play. One of the fastest growing sports in the U.S., lacrosse is a fast-paced game with unique elements and a lot of skills that translate well to other sports. A team game - players learn to work together while developing their own individual skills and capabilities (endurance, vision, body control, hand-eye coordination). Founded in 2020, Kingfisher Lacrosse is developing girls and boys youth lacrosse in the greater Cedar Rapids - Iowa City area. We just completed our second full season.
