Whether two or two thousand Marines (active duty, reservists, or veterans) gather they celebrate their common pride of being in this elite brotherhood. On 3 Nov 2022 the Charlotte Marine Corps Recruiting Station will celebrate the 247th Birthday of the US Marine Corps at the Harrah's Cherokee Resort in Cherokee, NC. The evening begins with a social at 1800, followed by the Birthday Ceremony at 1900, then the dinner at 2000. After dinner, frivolity will ensue, and you can dance to the music of a live band. Your reserved dinner will include a House Salad and your selection of steak, chicken, or vegetarian, all with sides of Roasted Potatoes and Green Beans. Dinner Rolls, Iced Tea, Coffee, and dessert are also included. The dress for the night is Dress Blues or formal wear and the fee for the entire evening of celebration is $90 per person.
