Job Description AAA Storage has an opening for a Property Maintenance Technician. This is a part-time (10-20 hours per week) position. The pay for this position is $18-$22 per hour DOE. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the buildings and all outdoor areas of this property in a safe and attractive condition and assist in other types of maintenance. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance to inspect and make necessary repairs to buildings, doors, and roofs. • Ability to perform full facility inspections at both of our locations which can include cleaning of empty units, disposal of abandoned property and trash, groundskeeping, and snow removal. • Physical ability to perform such tasks as sweeping, shoveling, lifting, climbing ladders, and lock removals. • Be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following tools: hand tools, grips, hammer, grinder, etc. • Ability to work independently and a willingness to learn. • Must be able to speak to renters and maintain good working relations with staff as well as any contract workers that may be on-site. • Appearance and manner must be compatible with the image of our property. • Good safety habits and a clean driving record. • Able to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
