Description
Awaken your senses and connect deeply to nature around and within you. Experience a gentle, sensory walk based on the Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, or "forest bathing", in Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve.
Located 40 minutes north of the Cities in East Bethel, this University of Minnesota research station is dedicated to long-term experiments on species biodiversity and impacts of climate change.
Cedar Creek encompasses a diverse mosaic of prairie, savanna, sedge meadows, bogs, open water, and forests. For this event, we will follow the Cedar Bog Lake trail. This trail wends through savanna, forest, and cedar bog habitats, and is usually closed to the public.
