Join us for Dia de los Muertos or a Day of the Dead Celebration on Saturday, October 29 from 10 am to noon!Commemorate your loved ones at the museum through this life-affirming celebration which has been observed for centuries recognizing the eternal cycle of life. Learn about the significance of Dia de los Muertos through a speaker, art activities, docent-guided tours of Soñadora: Yuyi Morales, dance performances and music. Guests will enjoy a heartfelt ofrenda (altar), Mexican hot chocolate, and pan de muerto (traditional Day of the Dead bread). Presented in partnership with Casa de Mexico and Casa de Artes y Cultura CABETCAL. Ticketed event.
