She would be kept in our kitchen when we are gone. We are a husband and wife and have been married 40 years. We also would be spaying her to prevent back issues and other things. We had three girls in the past and only have one now is reaching about 12 years old. My girl dachshund died after being with me for 16 years and slept on the bed next to my leg every night all that time.
