Peace Distributors is currently hiring for a Warehouse Specialist. We are a rapidly growing online company looking to hire immediately. The parenting company is named Peace Distributors, but we also operate smaller entities including Westwood Gourmet and Ink Whiskey (website available to view at www.inkwhiskey.com). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Forecasting and purchasing of goods - Verify inventory and send approved purchase orders - Follow up on all open orders, confirmed price and availability - Track incoming products to verify shipment received, keeping track of inventory received and back-ordered products - Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, verify quantity and quality of stock received from manufacturer - Processes and documents returns as required - Rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with vendor to rectify damages and shortages - Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports - Performs routine administrative duties, including data entry - Research and investigate new inventory sources - Track inventory sent & investigate inventory that may be lost in shipment - Coordinate outgoing and some incoming shipments if needed - Create new online listings for products - Label and ship products - Other duties as required Balance of Duties - Expect 30% of time dedicated to purchasing - Expect 30% of time processing products - Expect 30% of time creating product listings - Expect 10% of time traveling to assist with trade shows (often held on weekends) SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED - Strong attention to detail - Problem solving abilities - Must have Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word and Excel (need not apply if not experienced) - Good communication skills and personable Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma required Some college education preferred Compensation: - Start: $16-17/hr - After 30 days of employment employee may be eligible for pay increase based on performance
