Job: Emergency Restoration Technician ($20-$25 hour) Location: Central Valley, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and surrounding areas Employment Type: Full-Time plus rotating On-call Availability: Immediate Duties: *Identify the source of the problem and scope project *Sketch out the loss site and scope damage and repairs needed *Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable flooring that was affected *Perform light construction demo upon approval *Set up air movers and/or dehumidifiers, containments, specialty equipment, and monitor progress to drystandard *Complete all paperwork daily: Work Orders, required authorizations, etc. *Take pictures of the loss, uploaded to Dropbox *Perform water extraction and pack-out contents *Identify safety hazards: i.e Asbestos containing material and Lead etc. *Communication with team members Qualifications: *Construction experience helpful *Ability to work in an environment that has suffered water, fire, mold damage, fire typically *Demolition experience: i.e. ability to take down and remove cabinets, toe kicks, baseboards, counter tops, drywall, sheetrock, flooring and carpeting, when needed *Must be able to work for long periods of time in both hot and cold temperatures *Able to go into confined spaces when needed *Able to lift more than 50 lbs *Must wear a respirator, as needed, per project PPE requirements (ie handling sewge, bio-hazard) *Works as a team player *24/7 Availability while On-call: Rotating schedule *Requires and valid drivers’ license and clean driving record *No criminal record *Pass drug test *Reliable transportation to work with Valid Driver’s License *IICRC certified a plus, but not required.
