Hi - Want to play bass but aren’t doing well with the standard method book approach to learning that your tutor is hammering you with? I’m an older, upright bass/bass guitar player (jazz musician) with mild learning disabilities. And I’m interested in sharing some of the the many effective, but otherwise unorthodox, strategies I’ve developed over the years to master my instrument. I’m self-taught. I have no teaching experience at all. Nevertheless, I believe I may be equipped to help the student of bass - with mild learning difficulties similar to my own - learn how to play well and perhaps even read a lead sheet. What I’d like to do instead of force a specific program on you is shape instruction based on what we agree is going work best for you. There are many ways to puzzle it out in an enjoyable way. Let me show you my back door to basic musical competency in an understanding and patient way. First 45 minute lesson is free. $35 each lesson there after. I’m fully vaxed and boosted.
