Description

You are cordially invited to Save the Humans. We are launching a movement to save the future of an endangered species - the human - through joyful action and laughter. Join us for a dynamic, two-hour event featuring stand-up comedy, a short film and a hosted journey into a new kind of climate conversation. The event is hosted by Hila the Killa (Hila Perry), an eco-rapper from New York. The comedy sets are delivered by standup comedians and storytellers Pete Dominick, Ophira Eisenberg, Kyle Marian, Aminah Imani. We started with the questions: What if we could change the cultural narrative around our climate crisis? What if we could transform the fear into hope, the sense of paralysis into inspiration and the feelings of isolation into connection and community? “Save the Humans” is the answer we arrived at; a joyful revolution, created for humans, by humans. We aim to catalyze positive action through humor and a local, life-centric approach. This movement is an inclusive one and everyone is welcome - including you! We want you to have fun, laugh, engage… and walk away feeling inspired and empowered to claim this movement as your own. If it sparks your fire, you can be among our early ambassadors, helping to invite others in and growing the movement. Save the Humans is brought to you by AGO, a movement accelerator. The session will be filmed. By attending the event, you consent to photography, audio and video recording and their releases. Seating is limited on a first-come first-served basis. Light food & drinks will be available. 11:30 AM Doors 12:00 PM Show starts
