Hi friends! My name is Jill and I'm on the board of directors for a nonprofit organization called Kane's Krusade. We assist low income dog owners in various ways, from special diets, veterinary care, housing assistance and more, so that they can care for and keep their dogs without these common financial burdens. On October 23rd we are holding the 2nd annual Pawsome 5k in Belchertown at our premier sponsor, Alden CU's bank branch. This year alone we've paid out approximately $25k+ in vet care assistance, and even paid for motel rooms for dog owners who were unhoused and waiting on temporary shelter, in addition to other assistance. It's been a tough few years. The P5K is a timed run, and untimed walk for those who don't run. First 100 sign-ups get a tshirt and goodie bag! Early bird pricing ends TODAY!
