Do you want to help speech recognition and translation technology? AIDI is conducting a data collection to help improve voice recognition and translation technology. This collection will take place at our office in Bellevue and take approximately 90 minutes to complete. You and a friend will hold a conversation through mobile devices about a variety of topics. The goal is to gather as much US based Spanish speaking dialects as possible. If you are fluent in speaking Spanish, and have lived in, or are from the US, then you are eligible to participate in this study. After the collection is complete, you and your friend will be given $60 cash each. Requirements are as follows: • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must speak in fluent Spanish for the duration of the recordings • Must be able to bring a friend or family member who also meets the requirements with them. • Can only participate in the collection once.
