We are a wholesale seafood company based in the Dome District of Tacoma. We specialize in packaging live quality shellfish to be shipped out to our customers. We are currently hiring for a warehouse laborer/ driver position. Job duties: Boxing and palletizing live shellfish to prepare for shipping Driving refrigerated company trucks locally to pick up product or deliver to SeaTac Occasional grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, and pruning Operate a variety of warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Will also utilize a variety of hand tools as required Must maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse environment at all times Other duties as instructed Job requirements: The ability to lift boxes weighing up to 60 pounds on a consistent basis Basic computer skills in order to run labeling software Valid Washington State Driver’s license Contributes to team effort by accomplishment of assignments as directed Available 4-5 days per week, including evenings and weekends Preferred Experience: Clean driving record and ability to drive up to a 20' automatic transmission truck (non CDL) Certified fork lift training Efficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Word This position would report to the Warehouse Manager. Estimated weekly hours between 35-40.
