Job Description Local furniture moving and furniture assembly company looking to hire a box truck driver/team lead to join our Denver team. We typically move in brand new furniture to apartments in the Denver metro area. All furniture comes in boxes and needs moving, assembly, and trash removal. No personal items will be handled as this is a corporate contract and majority units will have elevator access. List of Responsibilities: Drive 16’-20’ box truck -Perform daily operations consisting of: -Furniture pickup at warehouse -Furniture delivery to apartments -Furniture assembly and staging -Trash removal and disposal -Occasional small furniture pick ups & drop offs -Daily trips to Uhaul to pick up and drop off moving supplies from storage locker Maintain and replenish moving supplies Oversee a small team of 1-2 movers Coordinate daily schedule with moving team and your operations manager Report daily issues/challenges and provide solutions to get the job done Necessary Skills: Be able to lift up to 60 lbs Drive up to a 20’ box truck Reliable Transportation Reliable Smartphone Basic computer skills (Google Suites: email, calendar, drive) Team leadership experience Experience with furniture assembly and tools Versatility Compensation & Schedule: -Contract full time position (1099) -Weekly base pay plus hourly (up to $1,100/week) -20 - 40 hours/week depending on customer demand -Paid weekly every Friday
