Description
Hey there! Do you like to play music for no reason in particular, other than the fun of making noise and hanging out with likeminded folks? Are you an adult with no dreams of making a career out of music, but keeping it going as a hobby? If so, maybe we should jam together!
I'm an aggressively average drummer with some experience playing in both cover bands and original acts. My influences are fairly broad, but here are some of the bands I've covered: Modest Mouse, They Might Be Giants, Jimmy Eat World, Built to Spill, Tom Petty, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cranberries, Fastball, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Counting Crows. Ok so, maybe the 90s is my wheelhouse, but I'm comfortable playing most genres to some degree.
I have my own equipment, and a house with an unfinished basement that I use for practice space. I also like to use Rocket Space rehearsal rooms, since I have kids and I can't be as loud as I used to at home. Mostly, this would be a nice way to hang out, drink a few beers, and make some noise once a week or so. If we feel like it, maybe we could hit up an open mic if our schedules allow. No expectations or pressure on that front though.
Anyway, if this sounds like it might be your thing, then hit me up and let's see where this goes!
