Primary Role The Delivery Driver and Memorial Installer is responsible for delivering completed granite memorial orders to customers in a timely and safe manner. This role commands an excellent display of communication skills required to work with our clients and co-workers by providing a competent and personable representation of the Company. The Delivery Driver and Memorial Installer will coordinate their workload to meet scheduled routes while achieving optimum productivity. This role works closely and communicates with our Customer Service team to meet or exceed customer expectations. Tasks Responsible for verifying granite memorials for accuracy against order documents Preserve schedule of delivery routes to various cemeteries with installation as requested on order Load and safely secure memorials onto delivery vehicle Follow safety procedures for material handling, use of slings, hooks, or other devices to lift granite Observes and relays pertinent communication and concerns from the Account to Customer Service and Delivery Lead Keeps the paperwork flow in the process; picked up, filled out and turned in Records the completion of orders with the use of a tablet and photographs final installation to upload into StoneSpot Be available to answer questions from account upon delivery, assess needs and evaluate customer satisfaction Final Date Lettering Ensure stencil matches order and coordinates ETA’s of routes to cemeteries for onsite sandblast engraving With precision and accuracy, will layout stencil on granite memorial to sandblast final date May call cemeteries to obtain grave locations Communicates information from accounts to Customer Service Additional Tasks May call Account or Sexton to set up an installation and coordinate with Customer Service and/or Delivery Lead May perform additional work as needed such as cleaning memorials, refurbishing, and setting May be required to travel away from home 1-4 nights a month Responsible for keeping the interior of the delivery truck clean and free of debris and the exterior clean Skills Critical thinking, and ability to work independently or with a team to make good decisions High level of accuracy required in details of the memorials, delivery, and installation of memorials Maintaining composure even in difficult situations Pleasant demeanor with others and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude Using logic and reasoning to identify the solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Stamina and ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects to perform physical activities Observing, paying attention, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems Listening with full attention to understand the points being made, asking appropriate questions Communicates to convey information clearly and effectively Experience and Abilities 2 years of related experience Working outside and being exposed to all reasonable weather conditions Ability to sit in truck for long periods of time Requires good English composition both written and verbal High school diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Knowledgeable in computer applications Trained with the ability to safely operate truck’s crane Benefits: Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift
