Description
Zorro is a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd who turned 2y/o in June and weighs 88 lbs. He is neutered and recently got a rabies shot on 7/25.
He is very intelligent, energetic, loyal, and loving. He has a silly, lovable personality and is very entertaining. I wish I could keep him, but I lost my job/home and no longer have a backyard.
Zorro knows basic obedience and is potty trained. He loves training and learns quickly. He is a working breed with lots of drive and focus. Experienced owners only please - someone who understands his breed and can give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs.
Zorro could get along with a large female, but would be best as an only dog. He loves my husky/shepherd female but can play too rough, although has never shown aggression to her. He is very reactive and afraid of all other dogs besides her, but has never bit another dog or person.
He is very protective and loves being at home guarding the house. He needs a lot of exercise and time with his person, but he does well when left alone (only chews his toys - never my stuff). Zorro loves kids and is very protective of them, but I wouldn't recommend him around young children due to his size. He is very strong and still a little clumsy.
Zorro is on OTC allergy meds (3 tablets daily) due to environmental allergies. I put the tablets in his kibble and he eats them. It's the Kirkland brand and very affordable ($10 for 600 tablets lasting 6-7 months). He eats Kirkland brand dog food (lamb and rice) and wet food (turkey).
Small re-homing fee includes a harness, 1 year supply of allergy meds, and his favorite toys. Feel free to call, text, or email.
