I am a guitar player with 40+ years of experience playing live in a variety of situations, i.e.. clubs, bars, restaurants, church, theater. I also sing backup/harmonies. I have played in bands that worked with very well known artists. I'm far from the best guitar player out there but I am proficient and come prepared, have my stuff together, learn everything on my own time, professional, punctual, fit and know how to make it work in a variety of situations. I enjoy pop, rock, country, R&B, beach, or about anything if it keeps the crowd happy. I have a professional drummer, bass player available if needed. I live east of Raleigh so prefer something on that side of town. Would like to find a group that has keyboards or another guitar player. My days of learning 50 songs, carrying the load of the band are behind me. I work a full time professional job, have a family and looking a band that understands life priorities. And if you want me to audition with songs that I don't know, please be prepared for me to ask the band to audition with songs you don't know for me as well. Apologize for being so prescriptive and critical, but have had a lot of bands on CL waste my time due to poor communication or outright lies about their talent/gigs on the calendar, band videos which are from 10 years ago and completely different band, "practice" meaning get drunk time away from the wives, etc. Also if you want videos of my playing, get on Zoom. I'll play for you live...my video's are all over the map from many different situations.
