About This Position HP Indigo Digital Press Operator – Level 1 or Level 2 Westamerica Communications is rapidely growing it’s Digital Print Division to meet and exceed our Customer’s needs! We are looking for an HP Indigo Press Operator to achieve this objective. Responsibilities: • Operate state-of-art HP Indigo 15000 digital press and/or HP Indigo 7900 digital press (Experience with other HP Indigo presses is welcome) • If you want to expand your digital press expertise but don’t have HP Indigo press experience, we are willing to train. • Print jobs following daily production press schedule and directives from department manager. • Manage press functions including; job setup at press and some front end setup, load paper, print job in compliance with color and quality standards, unload printed sheets and stage for finishing production. • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly press maintenance routines. • Ability to read and understand job ticket instructions. • Communicate with team members when there are shift changes; status of jobs, condition of press and any other important conditions that are pertinent to production. Preferred Skillset: • Mechanically minded • Ability to handle challenges and problem solving • Flexability in work / shift hours, (including some weekend work) • Understand Windows based PC and applications • Must be organized and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
