We are currently looking for a Construction Field Supervisor, who will be responsible for monitoring the progress of all projects under construction. The Construction Field Supervisor is the main contact with the clients during construction, therefor they should have excellent customer service skills. The Construction Field Supervisor will conduct daily communication with our clients and will answer all the client’s questions, as well as set the expectations for the construction schedule. The Construction Field Supervisor will be responsible for the quality and schedule of all projects. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Monitor budget and customer satisfaction to ensure a positive client experience • Ensure inspections and other municipal requirements are followed • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish of a project – while paying attention to budgetary limitations • Communication with Construction Coordinator on materials orders and schedule • Supervise the work of subcontractors, laborers, etc. and guide them when needed • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, and report issues • Lead and manage frontline team and subcontractors The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes: • 3-5 years of experience in supervising residential construction • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus) • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong organization and time management skills • Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards • Outstanding customer service and negotiation tactics • A team player, with leadership abilities • Possesses at least a high school degree or equivalent Compensation will include a base salary of $52,000-$65,000/ year with opportunities for bonuses.
