Hello All! I am (28) looking for ( or to create) a project to work with! I am looking to write some metal/core/progressive/etc. I used to include a bunch of “similar to band x, y, and z” but honestly, sounds just come together and we don’t need to trap ourselves in a box. I like to see where the songs takes us. Our “sound” will develop as we write which, I believe, is a huge part of the fun! I have a well-equipped home studio where we can write/record etc. I have many instruments, pieces of gear and plug ins at our disposal. I am first and foremost a vocalist ( I need a bit to practice and regain my vocal strength; that’s a little difficult without fresh music to sing on), but I can play some guitar, I am not lead guitarist, by far. But I can hold down a rhythm and help write parts. I can play keyboards and Keytar, etc. I have quite a few weird little pieces of gear that I would love to incorporate in some way, like said Keytar! I am looking for a super chill and relaxed creative group that can write some awesome music! To be transparent, I am a full-time Business student, part-time audio engineer, part-time bike mechanic, live away from my studio, among many other obstacles. With that being said, I am limited to my time available to write and record. I will make every possibility happen, although, I am in no particular rush to put out music. I would love to write another album of metal-based music, but I want this to be a very low-pressure situation for everyone involved. As long as common courtesies are observed, like not showing up when others are expected to show up, etc, then I am all for whatever timeline and possibilities! If things gain some momentum, then I am more than willing to make shows, marketing, etc work to the fullest of my capabilities.
