House of Rental is a full service Party, Event, Tool & Equipment Rental company with locations in Skokie, Wheeling & Glenview, established in 1969 serving Chicago and the northern suburbs. Event Technician / Tent Installation crew You and your crew are responsible for the construction (assembling and disassembling) of tents, lighting, and party rental equipment. The work is physically demanding, but rewarding. Must be able to move/lift/carry 50 to 70 lbs. Wear steel toed boots, company uniform shirt. Work in crews of 3-9 people depending on the job size. When not out in the field, you will also assist with organizing equipment and other warehouse duties. Cleaning tents, sidewalls and chairs. Helping load, unload and organize rental equipment in the warehouse. We are willing to train the right candidate if you are willing to learn. All applicants must: present valid identification, employment eligibility and resume of work history Required education: High school or equivalent Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00-5:00 Overtime for night and weekend work available. We also have 12:00-8:00pm night crew shifts available. Warehouse work, loading and unloading trucks.
