I have a male and female pair housed together. The male would love to be considered a bonded pair as they do groom each other on occasion but the female likes to keep him guessing. The female is about 4 years old and mostly grumpy. The male is about 3 years old and loves to chatter to anyone who will pause long enough to admire him. He really acts like a cheerful little fellow despite his mostly unrequited love and sings/chatters all day long. He can be loud for such a tiny creature and even tries interacting with outside birds too. They are safe here but I feel they could be truly happy with someone who has the time and knowledge to let them enjoy life more. They are not tame nor do they currently get free/flight time outside of their cage. It is roomy enough they can fly inside of it but believe me I understand this is not the same. Finding time beyond keeping them cleaned and fed has so far not been attainable for me. I'm considering seeking a better home for them. If you are experienced with birds, understand they can be loud and messy, are not going to clip their wings, can offer a stable home for them for the next decade, can introduce some foods other than seeds and millet, then please send me an email and let's see if this is beneficial to my two budgies.
