Going "Green"? Wait a minute....

GREEN ENERGY. It involves windmills. It involves solar panels. It involves lots and lots of huge batteries. As of right now, we have NO process by which to RECYCLE any of these things, when they go bad or wear out. We are currently taking old solar panels, old windmill blades, and old batteries and BURYING THEM IN THE GROUND. There is no recycling process. All the minerals we mine out of the Earth to build batteries and solar panels are simply going to waste, lost forever. They say oil is finite, we only have so much petroleum in the ground, but the same is true for all the minerals we use for batteries and solar panels. So, for now, we just BURY shit because we don't know what else to do with it. --- Out of sight, out of mind, right? Basically this 'Green' movement is producing more ground pollution than anything humans have ever done before. On top of that, we are absolutely RAPING the Earth for the minerals to make "Green" work and those minerals are being lost forever. Besides all that, the reality is, almost 90% of our energy still comes from fossil fuels -- batteries don't produce energy, they just store it. Until we come up with a reliable RECYCLING SYSTEM for old batteries, solar panels and windmill blades, I cannot stand behind 'green energy'. An expert in 'green energy' recently said we are literally DECADES away from being able to go with electric vehicles, we're trying to push it too fast. Liberal "Greenies" have all kinds of great 'save the earth' ideas, but they really don't understand the economics and logistics of the whole thing.
