This is a repost. It seems the Golden Rule doesn’t apply to immigrants. The term “empathy” is used to describe a wide range of experiences. Emotion researchers generally define empathy as the ability to sense other people's emotions, coupled with the ability to imagine what someone else might be thinking or feeling. Compassion literally means “to suffer together.” Among emotion researchers, it is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another's suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering. Compassion is not the same as empathy or altruism, though the concepts are related. What kind of person forcibly takes people and transports/dumps them to an unknown and unsuspecting city government? Certainly no Christian! Certainly no one with a scintilla of compassion or empathy! Political moves to promote personal Fascism to the gullible can only succeed with those already predisposed to hate. “What would Jesus do?” Really? You can’t answer that question without a pause? SHAME ON EVERY ONE OF YOU FALSE CHRISTIANS! “Have you no shame?” (10 points for historians knowing the origin of the statement.) I have nothing but respect for anyone who has walked over 1000 miles with their only possessions to seek safety and better living conditions for themselves and their families. MAGGITS won’t do anything but hate and further expose themselves and their fascist mentality.
