Create your own, hand-painted notecards with Jayne Roth at Highlandtown Gallery in this hands-on workshop on Saturday, September 17th from 1-4 PM. Students will learn how to create beautiful abstract alcohol ink art to use on the front of blank 5” x 7” notecards to take home and use. The finished cards also make a great gift. Students will learn to create stunning cards using thinned and full-strength alcohol inks. Gel pens are used to further detail art before attaching to a blank notecard. Alcohol inks, gel pens, notecards, and paper are all included in the workshop fee. Up to six notecards will be completed.Class is suitable for ages 13-adult.Note: this workshop will be held in a large space with adequate ventilation to avoid any inherent risks associated with using alcohol inks. Students may wish to bring the following optional supplies to class: respirator mask, nitrile gloves, apron or smock, and magnification lenses. On the day of the class, Jayne will also host a "Trunk Show" featuring a special collection of her pieces available for purchase.
