The warehouse facility is located in Long Island City, Queens - only 5 minute walk from the Vernon Blvd./Jackson Avenue subway station (7 train). Full-time $17.00/hr. + OT 5:00 PM until completion RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Loading and unloading supplies and furniture from loading docks to trucks and from trucks back on the loading dock. Heavy lifting, organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipment. Pulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveries, maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition. Breaking down boxes, packing and wrapping supplies and loading delivery vehicles for outbound delivery. Machinery experience (pallet jack, forklift, etc.) is not required but highly desired!! REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: 1.) Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and possess proof of vaccination 2.) Experience working on a Dock loading and unloading is a MUST 3.) Team-player with a positive attitude 4.) Must be comfortable with basic math, reading and writing skills 5.) Excellent attendance is a must 6.)
