The idea that income inequality distorts American society is unquestioned in most of academia and the mainstream media, but Gramm and his co-authors, Robert Ekelund and John Early, are leading the counterattack in their newly published “The Myth of American Inequality.”
Gramm, who co-sponsored the first binding constraints on federal spending while he was a Republican senator from Texas, will lay out his arguments on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. in the Ferguson Library in Stamford, Conn.
