To all the people giving away free kittens, rabbits, and various animals. There are many people who will take your animal and feed it to large snakes such as Burmese pythons, anacondas, large Monitor lizards, etc. I have been keeping large snakes for four decades but only feed my animals frozen pre-killed animals specifically sold for feeding reptiles. That being said there are people on message boards that brag about getting a free cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, chickens, etc and feeding it to their snake. It’s a large meal and saves the owner money. I have even heard rumors that some people will feed dogs to their snakes. So be smart and stop giving away your animals for free. People are well versed in how to present as a loving caring person seeking a furry friend. If you don’t throughly vet the people picking up your free animal than you could be handing it to someone who will feed it to a reptile. How stupid are some of you???
