When: Monday, September 26th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM (lunch will be provided) Where: Davis City Council Community Chamber at City Hall (23 Russell Blvd) Parking Details: Guests may park at the following specific locations without time restrictions during the event hours: City Hall Parking Lot (limited parking, please use only the visitor parking spaces) A Street between 5th and 7th Street Panel speakers addressing residential electrification will include: City of Davis Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) Dianna Jensen - Acting Director Public Works Engineering and Transportation, CAAP Project Director Kerry Loux - Sustainability Coordinator, CAAP Project Manager Valley Clean Energy (VCE) Rebecca Boyles, Director of Customer Care and Marketing Sierra Huffman, Program & Community Engagement Analyst Panel presentations will be followed by a roundtable discussion and Q&A by all participants, including topics such as: 1. Do you have any clarifying questions about electrification and grid reliance in Davis and Yolo County? 2. What are your concerns about electrification requirements at time of sale? At time of permit? 3. What are your recommendations for how real estate professionals can be leaders in getting to carbon neutrality by 2040? Do you have recommendations for ways to decarbonize the existing built environment? 4. What value do you perceive for residential sellers and buyers by identifying and quantifying energy efficiency measures; reduced energy costs; completed solar installation, etc?
