New England Truck Center is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator (Snow Operations) for the upcoming snow season (Nov – March). Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for plowing, salting and maintaining a clean and safe company site during and after snow storms. This position pays $25 to $30/per hour + Based on experience. Shifts and hours can vary based on needs related to expected snow accumulations. Operator will be using company equipment for snow removal including Front Loader, Skid Steer, and Salt Truck. Job Duties: • This position consists of operating plow equipment for potential long hours during and after snow storms. • Must have experience operating a Front Loader and Skid Steer in the past. • Perform equipment maintenance as requested (greasing machines, cleaning windshields, etc.). • Must be able to work at a moment’s notice based on weather conditions. • Must be comfortable working in cold conditions. Requirements: • 2 years Snow Plow Operating experience • Clean Driver’s License • Ability to work outside in cold weather • Must be flexible in regards to hours worked • Ability to work independently or with a team This position is temporary and will require a great deal flexibility.
