Her architecture is like no other city in the region and has been well preserved. You will also learn about some of Staunton's ghosts and why Staunton is considered to be one of the most haunted towns in VA. The Walking Tour will take you through 3 of the 6 historic districts in Staunton. Then we will take a walk down Beverley Street to look at all the unique architecture.we will see Newtown including Trinity Episcopal Church with the beautiful stained glass windows done by Louis Tiffany & Sons.
This tour is presented through Staunton Guided Tours and would normally cost $20, but is being offered at a group rate of $15 per person. We will meet at the Staunton Visitor Center at 35 N New St no later than 2:00pm.
Tis is an excellent opportunity to enjoy dinner and drinks in Downtown Staunton since Beverley Street will be closed to automobile traffic and all the restaurants will have outside dining available.
