On September 30, 2022 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm, Fannin County- Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will host the 8th Annual Fannin County Hay Show and Program at the Derrell Hall Education Center, 2505 N. Center St., Bonham, TX 75418. This has been a tough year with the drought, lack of hay, high fertilizer prices, and high input cost. Because of this, producers may have had to purchase hay that they may not be used to feeding. The importance of education for Hay Quality and Supplementation Strategies has never been more important than it is this year. We invite you to join Dr. Jason Banta- Extension Beef Cattle Specialist, and Cody Maxwell- Fannin County Extension Agent, as they discuss the following topics: Improving Hay Quality through Weed and Fertility Management, Managing Forages for Environmental and Pest Conditions, Supplemental Feeding based on Hay Quality.
