If you're looking for: -A family pet -A companion for your playful pup then Stella may be the perfect dog for you! Stella is an playful, sweet 40 lb, 1.5 year old husky mix. She LOVES other dogs, loves to play, loves to run around and play fetch. She would be a wonderful family dog to wear your kids out and teach them responsibility. She respects boundaries with other dogs. She would do best with kids 8+ and in a home without cats/rabbits. She is healthy with no known medical conditions. We are fostering her through BARC, the city of Houston pound, and their adoption fee is $20 on August 2-26 and August 29-31 and are $50 otherwise. This includes her being spayed and fully vaccinated. Stella needs: a home with a secure fence, a place to run around and play or someone willing to walk/run with her daily, and social interaction. She is a very social dog and would be happy in a home with other dogs to play with. She requires air conditioning and access to being indoors, as husky's thick coats are not made for the Texas heat. She was saved from euthanasia because she's a wonderful dog and deserves a loving forever home! That being said, if adopting her turns out to not be a good fit for your family, we will take her back. We want to make sure she and her new family are a good fit for one another. We are willing to travel to deliver her.
