We are so excited to announce another Art Walk at The Oak Cliff Assembly! 919 Morrell Ave. Dallas, TX 75203 4-7PM The Oak Cliff Assembly was once the home of many churches leading back to the 1920's. The property was built in 1941 and became a historical landmark in 2009. The building was meant to go up for public auction, but thankfully we won't see the results of that. We are so honored to be able to preserve this building. It had been abandoned for some time, but still holds so much beauty and character inside! You won't want to miss this opportunity. Our intention with the art walk is to create space and community surrounding local art. The fact that we also get to celebrate the rich history of the property is a plus! There will be 50+ artists participating, including artwork made by Celestino Mauricio Soto Jr. Elementary. -interactive woodcarving piece -screen-printing -projection art -sculptures made by recycled material -art on canvas and on plywood -live graffiti + more Davis Hawn Lumber supplied 20 artists with material to paint for the show, so go send them some love. We couldn't have done this without them! Food by: Rev's Grilled Cheese Drinks: Pegasus City Brewery + more Water provided by Smart Water.
