Diablo Country Club is looking to fill the position of a Full Time Houseman/ Housekeeper. A houseman/ housekeeper is employed for cleaning, maintenance and other general work outside and inside the facility in order to keep the club and property presentable and running smoothly. Specific duties and skills may vary depending on the level of experience of the individual. Hourly/ non-exempt position. Starting at $20 hour, based on experience. Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job (lifting up to 25lb, sometimes working on your knees and standing for long periods of time). 4. Must have reliable transportation. Background checks will be performed on all qualified applicants. Please only serious applicants.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintenance duties prioritized. Painting when needed. Repair and maintenance of furniture, fixtures and building as needed. Move furniture/cooking equipment for events. Reset furniture/cooking equipment after events. Keep furniture clean of food/drink stains. Keep floors, doors and walls clean. Keep brass polished. Keep glass/marble tables clean. Keep mirrors clean. Keep bathrooms and locker rooms clean. Dust chair rails, wainscot, mantels, posts, spindles, etc. Keep light fixtures clean. Prepare and place coffee/water in restaurants/lounge areas daily.
