Our growing company is seeking to hire a paint mixer / Paint Match Specialist to join our team. The paint mixer is responsible for mixing paint for the painters to proceed with painting. You will be in charge of making sure accurate pours are being utilized per mix to minimize paint waste. A paint match specialist is in charge of color matching customer samples by tweaking paint formulas to perfectly match the sample provided. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, able to learn quickly, work quickly and have great communication skills. You will have less than 1-year experience or no experience in the body shop as we will train all candidates in house. Positive goal driven attitude and able to work in a team environment. Paint Mixer / Paint Match Specialist Responsibilities: -Follow process given without deviation unless discussed with management -Work efficiently in a fast pace environment -Knowledge in sizes of different automotive parts to be able to adjust in pour amounts -Learn standard pour amounts per specific part -Input paint codes in the AkzoNobel paint computer -Accurately pour mixes without overpouring -Know how to increase or decrease standard pour count per automotive part -Communicate with painters in a daily basis to streamline any redoes -Consolidate leftover paint per color in specified containers daily -Always use of safety gear -Accountable for upkeeping all equipment assigned -Order materials that is needed with our vendor -Keep a clean and organized workstation -Record and note issues daily on mixes completed -Troubleshoot issues that arises -Average a minimum of 24 different color mixes per day -Label and Store customer paint samples -Custom match paint samples by tweaking formulas -Spray out paint samples to send to customers (Paint Swatches) -Manage, Store, & Track paint swatches Paint Mixer / Paint Match Specialist Requirements: -High School diploma or equivalent -Basic computer skills (Word, Email, Google docs, etc.…) -Physically able to stand and bend for hours at a time -Lift up to 60 pounds -Communicates well with others -High attention to detail -Follow the Process to the T -Positive and eager to learn attitude NOTE: To apply, please respond by inputting RevePaint in the Subject Line.
