Family Fun Hike - Eisenhower Park

Description

We will hike the Cedar Flats Trail to the top of Eisenhower Park, making a few stops for some interesting nature observations (solid surface, 2 miles round trip). We will climb the steps of the Eisenhower Viewing Tower to view the landscape--including downtown San Antonio. We will have little snack! We will descend the trail and receive some cool giveaways--including an "I Hiked to the Top!" backpack tag. This event is free. Two hikes are available: 9-11am or 1-3pm. Registration is required. We will meet at Pavilion 2, which is next to the playground. Education Coordinator David will lead this expedition. Contact him at [email protected] for more information.
