I am a solo musician seeking another solo player or duo to share a rehearsal space.
The space is a unit in a professional rehearsal building. This is an ideal set-up for a solo musician. There is room for your gear (Sorry, no space for a full drum kit.) We can set up a schedule so we each have use half the time.
I have a PA and playback monitors set up at a recording desk. I use the space a few times a week to practice or record. Other bands rehearse in the building but there is good insulation between units and there are times when the building is quiet. This space is at the end of the row, so it is isolated from most of the units. Sometimes I am the only one in the building.
If you are familiar with rehearsal spaces in SF, you know there are pros and cons to every rehearsal building and every unit. This is a great opportunity since the benefits outweigh the downsides. The main downside here is the typical issue of parking in the City. Somedays there is parking right out front, others you have to park a few blocks away. There is also a stairway to the space, but that is typical of every studio space I've seen around town.
The space I am offering is clean, nicely decorated, and includes a nice set-up with a desk, rolling chair, and some gear like the PA that can be shared. You might pay hundreds of $$ to share in a space that has several bands and typically the place will be a mess with old beer cans and take-out containers left behind by others. Here, your share of the rent would be $210 monthly to share with a responsible fellow musician. Possible lower rental cost for less than half-time access. Good vibes only.
If interested please reply to schedule to see the space.
