Spooky Skate presented by Smile Doctors is back and spookier than ever! Bring the whole family out for FREE Trick or Treating with our sponsors and sports teams, FREE kid's crafts and games, FREE entertainment, FREE costume contest with prizes, and only $5 to skate on the same ice as the Kansas City Mavericks Professional Hockey Team! Wear your best costume to participate in the Costume Contest to win a variety of great prizes! *NEW THIS YEAR* Take a journey into our FREE Haunted House! brought to you by City Theatre of Independence! *NEW THIS YEAR* During the first 30 minutes of the event, we will be hosting a FREE Learn to Skate Mini Session! *Save on your skate pass!* Free skating passes are given with a food donation at the door to Harvesters, as part of Cable Dahmer’s Million Meal Mission. **COSTUME SAFETY NOTICE** Please note that due to safety concerns, costumes with accessories or clothing pieces that hang below the ankles and/or drag behind a person will not be permitted on the ice rink.
