Description

Locally Grown Comedy features a rotating cast and crew from the twin cities, which include 50+ diverse creators (diverse in gender, sexual orientation, body types, race, abilities, etc). We are a female-led company, looking to add to Minnesota's thriving film, comedy and music industry, in hopes of highlighting all of our arts’ into one fun project. During this event, we will be showing a few sketches (some that have been released and one unreleased sketch!), discussing LGC and its trajectory, taking any questions from press or attendees and announcing a few upcoming exciting endeavors. The evening itself will begin with a live performance of our theme song, written by local Minneapolis rapper, Tuvok The Word! Check it out on Spotify! ("Locally Grown" by Tuvok the Word) Doors at 7pm, we begin at 7:30. Socializing afterwards, from about 8:30-10. Please show your vaccination card at the door in order to gain entrance, so we can continue to be safe. Masks encouraged, but not required. Thank you!
