Autumn is a wonderful time to be outside! Join storyteller Jen Strauss for an unique outdoor experience including storytelling and exploration! We will be wandering down the Boardman Lake Trail for a traveling, sensory story hike that will allow us to use our senses and share our discoveries. After the trail adventure, Jen will show participants how to make and use your own nature journal to record your fascinating discoveries in the natural world. For: Ages 12+. People of ALL abilities are welcome in this inclusive and accessible event! The trail is paved and is accessible. (Please note: Those who need personal assistance with mobility, hygiene, medicine etc. should be accompanied by an authorized assistant.) Cost: $10 per participant. Parents / guardians / personal assistants are welcome to join and do not have to pay. Date: Saturday, September 17th, 10:30am to 12pm (Rain Date: Sunday, September 18th, 10:30am to 12pm) Location: Hull Park, behind the Traverse Area District Library (Traverse City branch on Woodmere Avenue).
