Learn to Brew your own Kombucha 10am-12noon at the Blaine Library This ancient health beverage has been recently popularized in the U.S. but has been consumed for several thousand years in northern Mongolia. Come and learn about the benefits of this fun, refreshing drink. Step by step instructions on how to brew your own Kombucha! Samples of different flavorings will be available. Also, all participants will be going home with their own SCOBY to be able to start brewing their own Kombucha. In closing we will also discuss the health benefits of fermented vegetables (think pickles and sauerkraut). Handouts with detailed instructions will be available. This is a FREE CLASS. Space is limited but everyone is welcome. Blaine Library, Phone: , located at 610 Third St., Blaine, WA. We will be in the conference room to the right of the entrance. Can wait in the patio area (we will see you and let you in if you arrive before library opens).
