Rosie was found behind a 7/11, riding out a bad rainstorm for 3 days under a dumpster. Hungry and soaked, she was infested with fleas and ticks. During a vet visit she was diagnosed with anemia and heartworm, for which she is currently undergoing treatment at her foster’s. Rosie is loving and affectionate; eager to please her benefactor, especially if there are treats involved! Rosie is a pit bull mix, around 7 years old and weighs approximately 50lb. She comes spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on monthly preventatives. She does great with all people, be they adults or kiddos, friend or stranger; but is selective about her animal companions. Rosie will need a slow introduction to another 4 legger for optimal bonding results. Rosie is house trained, rides well in a car, walks great on a leash, and is learning basic commands such as Sit. She does NOT dig up your yard, does NOT chew your stuff, NOR excessively bark. What she does love to do is play with her doggy toys, trying to make up for all the years she spent not having any. Rosie’s perfect day would be binging Netflix on the couch next to you and her stuffies! She is a good girl that deserves the happiest ending! Home checks are required.
