Seeking a Fulltime Experienced Maintenance Mechanic
Responsibilities:
• Day to day coverage of production equipment - complete scheduled Preventive Maintenances (PM’s)
• Provide support with delegating resources, whether internal or external, for facilities maintenance and upkeep
• Collaborate with the production teams to improve equipment reliability and maintenance protocols
• Facilitate and maintain ordering and restocking of consumable materials in each of the chemical cabinets and floor
stock locations or any parts for machines as needed.
• Performs electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures wall switches and
outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using
appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
• Provide maintenance and repairs on compressed air systems including diagnostics to determine causes for
malfunctions by conducting inspections among buildings.
• Mechanically and electronically set up, maintain, and troubleshoot custom manufacturing/food processing
equipment.
• Performs plumbing maintenance (replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains,
trenching, and laying new lines, etc.)
• Work with other mechanics and engineers to establish and develop solid assembly techniques and solutions.
Education and/or Experience
• Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five (5) or more years as a preventative maintenance technician preferably in a food
manufacturing/processing environment a plus.
• Valid CA Driver’s License
