Burned by faulty propane tank, need help

I was set on fire by a defective propane exchange. When I went back to location that sold the defective tank, the cops and fire department treated me like a criminal for being in the way of the fireball. I've been contacting product liability attorneys, but no one will take my case. I have 1st and 2nd degree burns on my arm, and need legal help to hold these people responsible. Cops are supposed to protect and serve the public interest. If this had happened to someone's kids, it'd be all over TV. Please help!
