Position Summary Part time Street Sweeper Operator responsible for safely operating a sweeper truck to perform assigned duties on surface streets and parking lots. The person in this position will also be responsible for hands on general maintenance of the truck and equipment. Previous experience operating a sweeper truck is not required. On the job training will be provided for the right applicant. The Sweeper driver will be responsible for efficiently servicing accounts while complying with all regulation and company policies. The driver will need a flexible schedule to work day, early morning and night hours approximately 20 hours a week. The position could lead to more work in the future and we are looking for an employee that will grow with the company. Requirements • Must drive safely and be safety conscious at all times • Must be capable of operating different kinds of machinery & be mechanically inclined • Must be reliable, dependable, detailed oriented, focused and self-motivated • Must be at least 21 years of age • Must have a valid driver's license - class C - non commercial • Must have a clean driving record • Must be physically fit and cable of using a blower, walk parking lots and periodically to shovel • Must have good communication skills, be courteous and present a neat and clean appearance. • An estimated 2 months of training will be required for the non-experienced driver • Rate of pay will depend on experience starting at $21.00 per hour To apply for the position please respond to [email protected] with information about yourself.
