I am adding musicians to a Community Choir Concert on Friday, Dec 16 at 6:30pm. I am looking for a trumpet player, violin 1, violin 2, viola & cello. There are individual pieces for an oboe player, and we may need a 2nd accompanist for some of the more Gospel-style pieces. Score parts and lead sheets available.
The concert contains 16 choral works and a few songs by a Children's Choir. The instruments will accompany the choir, but are not used on all the pieces of music. It will be about a 90-minute concert.
There is a full dress rehearsal Mon, Dec 12 at 6:30pm. Other rehearsals can be scheduled as needed in Sunbury or North Columbus. It is a large community event, that will really put you in the Christmas spirit... and you can get paid to play along. Thank you for joining us and asking your friends to be a part of it!
