California Country Rock project seeking musicians

Hello My name is George -- I'm looking to connect with musicians who are into California Country Rock -- I am a vocalist and also play electric and acoustic guitar, bass, pedal steel. Looking for like-minded people to form a project to perform this music and keep it alive. I'm particularly looking for people who can sing lead vocals and strong harmony -- I'm an experienced vocalist and I'll need 2 more to handle the 3-part harmony stuff. I'm looking for people with a long view and don't mind patiently doing the work to get a really nice project together -- this is not a "drop-in" or quick buck situation to make rent -- I guess I'm saying you need to love the music and want to play it. The project will need competent players and singers, not beginners. You can be in other projects as long as you keep your commitments. I can get gigs when the time comes. Age/race/gender/class/creed/looks not important, of course, just able to play and sing reliably and be convivial. Location: I myself am in LAX area, but willing to drive a bit to meet up with the right folks. First task is to establish a regular day, say monthly, where true fans of this music come together to play it -- then, if things gel, we will gig it out. Lead vocals, harmony vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums, keys to start. I want to focus on Southern Cal Country rock -- no straight country, no nashville, no san francisco, no straight folk, no bluegrass, no originals - focus, focus, focus. Wow, probably way too many words here. I figure that since these bands are all from So Cal, there must still be some fans, old and new, around that still want to hear the music they made.
